WHAT IS GAGA CRAZYBALL?: Gaga Ball (also known as Ga-Ga) is a group game similar to dodgeball. It has spread from camps and schools to now become a worldwide phenomenon that we’re bringing to your own backyard!

EASY TO PLAY: The game is played in a “Gaga Pit”. The objective is to hit opponents below the knees while avoiding getting hit yourself. If the player gets hit or touches below the knee with the ball, the player is out and leaves the pit. Last player standing wins the round!

Everyone begins inside the pit touching the wall. Toss the ball into the center and let it bounce three times; then players strike it with their hands and try to hit opponents below the knees. A player hit below the knees leaves the pit, and the last player remaining wins.

The assembled pit is approximately 10 by 10 feet (300 by 300 cm) and 23 inches (58 cm) high. Leave additional open space around the outside so eliminated players and supervising adults can move safely without crowding the game.

The current product guidance recommends 2–8 players, which works well for backyard groups, parties, camps, and family play. Smaller groups have more room to dodge; larger groups create faster eliminations and quicker rotations.

Plan on about 10 minutes for the tool-free setup. The manual shows eight illustrated steps using repeating frame sections and connectors, so it is still smart to assemble it before guests arrive the first time.

There is no fixed round time in the official instructions: a round ends when only one player remains. The pace depends on the number and experience of the players; for parties or classes, an adult can set a house-rule time limit to keep turns moving.

A player is out if the ball hits below the knees, if they hold or kick the ball, if they hit it out of the pit, or if they hit it twice before it touches another player or the wall. If someone catches a struck ball before it bounces, the player who struck it is out.

The current approved product guidance is ages 6 and up. An adult should supervise, explain the below-the-knees rule, and keep play appropriate for the ages and abilities in the group.
